Irish Manufacturing Research Senior management give keynote talks at this year’s Manufacturing and Supply Chain event.
The Manufacturing and Supply Chain Expo took place this year at Citywest Convention centre. The annual event welcomed 3,000 manufacturing and supply chain industry professionals, 200 speakers and 170+ exhibitors. There were 16 conferences taking place within the event including the Sustainable Manufacturing Summit, Lab2Cleanroom Expo and the National Procurement Summit.
Irish Manufacturing Research was delighted to be part of the very successful National Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference. There was significant interest in the main thrust of the IMR message, particularly in the areas of digitisation in Manufacturing, Tacit Knowledge Management Systems, Additive Manufacturing, and Energy Efficiency. Both Andrew Lynch (Chief Innovation Officer) and Micheal Cassidy (Founder & Chief Technology Officer) gave keynote speeches to the main conference. This year’s event saw the consolidation of past years progress in making this unique event more effective in gathering the wider manufacturing community together under one roof. Other participants included IMR members, Kuka, Festo, J&J, ABB, Glanbia, Boston Scientific and many more. Micheal Cassidy also took part in a panel discussion on the main stage which featured Charlie Sheridan (Director of IoT systems research lab in Intel), Patrick Ward (Microsoft) and Tom Davis (Hovione).
