Irish Manufacturing Research was delighted to welcome Pat Breen Minister of State for Trade, Employment, Business EU Digital Single Market and Data Protection and Akhilesh Krishnan, Global Supply Manager Tesla, Tom Kelly Enterprise Ireland and Pat Beirne CEO Mergon, Ray Davis and Tom Mullen Mergon, Tom Hyland Mullingar Chamber CEO to our Mullingar Research and advanced pilot line facility. The delegation had the opportunity to see the exciting plans being developed for the facility over the coming few years and got to experience some of the research output themselves.  Minister got to see first hand the exciting research that was taking place in IMR with our partners such as Croom Medical, Renishaw, and iform.  They also got some insight into the world of Virtual Reality and to see an example of collaborative robotics in action.

Mergon is a huge Irish success story manufacturing parts for leading global companies such as Tesla and IMR were delighted with the opportunity to be part of this visit.
